A special Veterinary Clinical Camp was organized in connection with the celebration of “Krushi Vikas Varsh 2014-15”, by College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh in collaboration with Saurashtra Prani Kalyan Mandal, Rajkot, Inner Wheel Club of Rajkot and Shree Kamdhenu Seva Kendra, Rajkot on 10th December, 2014 at College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. Dr. C.J. Dangaria, Director of Research & Dean P.G. Studies and Dr. A. M. Parakhiya, Director of Extension Education, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh were present on the occasion and graced the function. Dr. J. S. Patel, I/c. Principal & Dean, College of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry, Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh, Shri Hasmukhbhai Shah, President, Shree Kamdhenu Seva Kendra, Rajkot and Shri Rajnibhai Patel Saurashtra Prani Kalyan Mandal, Rajkot and Shri Sheelaben Motiyani Inner Wheel Club of Rajkot were also present on the occasion. Six staff  members; Dr. Bhavika Patel, Dr. A.M. Patel, Dr. J. V. Vadaliya, Dr. K.B. Vala, Dr. Joice P Joseph and Dr. K. H. Parmar along with postgraduate students from clinical departments were actively involved in the clinical camp. Pet animals and large animals from Junagadh and surrounding villages were brought for the treatment in the camp. During the camp, twelve (12) small animals and fifty (50) large animals were treated for different medical, surgical and gynaecological ailments. In the camp different clinical cases were treated such as thirty three (33) Medicine, nineteen (19) Surgery, ten (10) Gynaecology and ten (10) laboratory samples were collected. A total of eighty animal owners (80) were direct beneficiaries of the camp. Different species of small animals of Junagadh and surrounding villages got specialized treatment from the expert staff members of the College.
