A One Day Seminar entitled “Be An Aware Consumer” (Bano Jagrut Grahako) was organized on April 30th, 2015 for local ladies of Amreli district, successfully done by sixth semester students. Students of III Year, who are learning the course "Consumer Education' in this semester,participated in this seminar very well. The seminar was started with the registration of the 50 ladies of local periphery. It is followed by ‘Welcome Speech’.

Dr. Bhawana Asnani, Assistant Professor, is Course Specialist of the seminar. Principal of the Polytechnic in Home Science, Dr. Jiju N. Vyas, and other staff members, Dr. Hemangi D. Mehta and Dr. Mamta Kumari were also made their valuable presence in the seminar, to boost the students’ morale.

There was a Role Play acted by the students, based on the theme. It was very well executed. Two presentations were also disseminated on the topics, viz., Adulteration in Food Products and Standardization Marks. The conduction of this seminar will definitely enhance the curiosity and knowledge gain of the students. The blessings of Principal, Polytechnic in Home Science . It was ended with ‘Vote of Thanks’.
