A programme of Woman Empowerment was arranged on 7th February,2019 by Saurashtra Dalit Sangathan and Karmachari Utkarsh Mandal under the Chairmanship of Respected Smt. Kailashben A. Pathak, President, Krushi Parivar Mahila Mandal, Junagadh to commemorate the 121st Birth anniversary of Smt. Ramamai Ambedkar spouse of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar as a symbol of woman empowerment.
    This programme was attended by SarvaShri Devenbhai Vanvi, Pareshbhai Dafda, Vijaybhai Parmar, Jayantibhai Parmar, Mansukhbhai Parmar, Nikhilbhai Chauhan, H.L. Jotiya and Shri D.K. Chavda, President, S.T. Cell, JAU, Junagadh.
   During the programme, Saurashtra Dalit Sangathan and Karmachari Utkarsh Mandal felicitated to Dr. P. V. Patel, Director of Extension Education, JAU, Junagadh for his outstanding contributions made for empowering students, women and employees of Junagadh Agricultural University.
