CORRIGENDUM TO ADVERTISEMENT No. 1/2013

The Recruitment Rules for the post of Assistant Professor and its equivalent have been revised by the Government of Gujarat as per the resolution dated 23rd January, 2013. Accordingly, the following candidates will be considered eligible.

i.   The candidates should have cleared NET with at least ONE paper published in NAAS rated journal.

ii.  The candidates having completed Ph.D. with course work and published at least TWO full papers in NAAS rated journals having minimum score of FOUR (4) will be exempted from the NET.

iii.  A relaxation of 5% marks at the Graduation and Master's degree level will also be given to the candidates of PH category at par with the candidates of SC/ST category.

iv.  The candidates of Veterinary Faculty will be given exemption from the NET examination for a period of 5 years from the date of appointment. 

In view of above, the interested candidates are hereby informed to apply before the extended last date, i.e., 11/02/2013.
