The new hostel building of PG Institute of Agri-Business Management named “CHANAKYA HOSTEL” in the campus of Junagadh Agricultural University was formally inaugurated by the Hon'ble Minister for Agriculture, Shree Babubhai Bokhiria,  on 1^st  December, 2013.  Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Dr. N.C.Patel presided over the function. Other dignitaries gracing the occasion included: Former State Agriculture Minister, Shri Kanubhai Bhalala and Member of Legislative Assembly – Kodinar, Shri Jethabhai Solanki. On this occasion  Dr. C.J. Dangariya, Director of Research & Dean PG; Director of Extension Education Dr. A.M.Parakhiya; Registrar Dr. K.B.Jadeja; Director of Students’ Welfare  Dr. P.V.Patel ; Principal & Dean of various colleges, professors and students also remained present.

This building was constructed worth cost of  Rs. 213.94 lakh.  Hostel  has 39 rooms with intake capacity of 78 post graduate students. Indore Gym, Mess, Visitor’s Room and Recreation room are also available for students.
